88) HONG-KONG (9 to 11 May 2017)

I had never been to Hong-Kong, but I had heard a lot of good comments about it. And it was on my way, so here I am!A copy of the Hollywood walk of fame:After Macao, Monaco and Singapore, Hong Kong has the 4th highest density in the World. More than 7 million people live in this small country. Independent since 1997.

I spent a couple of days visiting as much as I could. You would think that with such a high density, there isn’t any green space. Well, you would be wrong, there is a huge national park behind these skyscrapers.Hong Kong is the city with highest number of ‘more-than-150m’ buildings: 316 exactly. Here is the view from a mountain behind the skyscrapers.A bit further on the main island, I went onto a 2 or 3 hours walk called the Dragon’s Back because of its shape: walking on the crest of the hills.Of course, food is always involved in my travels. Like this Michelin star restaurant. And a few parties, as always. But not too many: a night out in Hong Kong is expensive!
