Han had perfectly planned the trip. We were together for 2 weeks only and we needed to make the most of it. After a 10 hours bus trip towards the mountains, we were in Nine Village Valley. We are not in Tibet, but most local people are Tibetan.
I feel the support:
The city where we stayed at is called Jiuzhaigou. After Brasil, Cuba and Mexico, I was not expecting such a cold weather at the beginning of the Summer. We did not do much the first day due to a poor weather: rain and snow.

Some Yak meat:
At night, we went to a Tibetan show.
The 2nd day, however, the weather was better and we went to the Jiuzhai Valley park, a World Heritage site by Unesco. This natural gem is not known in Western countries, but it is a highly touristic place. It costs 45 USD to get in, and we were 2 of the 10,000 visitors this day (there are up to 50,000 visitors a day during the peak season!). And among everyone, I saw less than 5 Western tourists… Yes, there are a lot of visitors, but everything is very well organised: walking tracks, buses… We were not expecting to see snow! The nature was stunning, I was blown away. I still am, looking at these pictures: mix of colours, waterfalls, trees, mountains, lakes…
