I came back from Coroico cold, sick and tired. I slept for 15 hours straight and left La Paz for good. On and off (trips to Cusco, Huayna Potosi and Coroico), I stayed nearly 4 weeks in this polluted and messy, but spectacular city. Direction: South, to Potosi, and Uyuni.
New tent and sleeping mattress, mechanics is done: the bike is ready!
On the road, I stopped at the Vallee de La Lune, interesting rock formation near La Paz.
Behind the moto, Illimani, the second highest mountain in Bolivia (6,400m).
And from here, I am leaving behind Huayna Potosi, the 6,100m mountain I climbed.
On the moto, I am regularly attacked by dogs. They usually do not insist, but this time, one managed to bite my foot, we can see a mark in the boot:
Once I stopped for lunch and when I came back, 2 Bolivians were trying to fix the front light which was slightly moving… I did not ask them anything!
The road isn’t too interesting from La Paz to Oruro, but it gets better and better as we get closer to Potosi.

I was overtaken by 4 Argentinian moto riders:
And here were are, in Uyuni. A yearly stop for the Dakar:
I know the next days are going to be hard, so I enjoy a last pizza-beer:
