19) PARTIES IN PARIS (1st to 3rd July 2016)

I have many friends in Paris and it was unfortunately impossible to see all of them in a week-end! Friday 1st of July, Ellen, I had met in Darwin years ago, had managed to put our names on the invitees list of the party she was organising near les Champs Elysees for the Euro football game Wales vs Belgium. Unfortunately, we did not take pictures together. Not much food + Free drinks = huge headache the day after, but that was an amazing night, thanks to her!About 10 of my friends came long, including the best, Sabrina 😉I was staying at Mathieu and Aline’s, seen a week earlier at the wedding in Normandy. Saturday, we took it easy and went walking, shopping… and drinking at Halima and David’s housewarming! Great party, thanks to them!I crashed on their couch and had to get up early Sunday:Sunday morning, I went to the North West of Paris to support my brother, Etienne, who has participating in a motorbike race. He did very well, I’m very proud of him!Sunday evening, I caught up with my old mate Pierro, now married and father of 3! I catch up with him every time I am in Paris but he moved a bit away from the city. His job is to chase terrorists, he is busy these days…For the last night in Paris, I was with Jerome, watching the Euro game France vs Iceland. Jerome and I traveled together for a few months in Australia when I first went there. I stayed at his place in Bordeaux 2 weeks earlier.Monday morning, I went on my own to the Eiffel tower. When doing a World tour, you have got to go there! On the afternoon, I took the train to Dijon, to see my parents. This week-end in Paris was intense. 3 big nights, not much sleep…
