In Toulouse, I was staying at Lucie’s place, my ex-neighbour with who I had kept in touch all these years. I studied engineering in Toulouse for 5 years before I left to Australia and Lucie and I were neighbours for 3 years. With her partner Benjamin, they run a restaurant in the city, Monsieur George. Top hospitality, thanks to them!I did a bit of shopping for the upcoming weddings (shirt, shoes) and walked around. I miss this place! Toulouse, 4^th city in France (440,000), is also one of the cities organising football games for the Euro.I’m going to try and make it short: I’ve got Lanny and Remi’s wedding in South West of France Saturday 18 June, then Maud and Adrien’s in North West of France Saturday 25 June. Adrien’s buck party is this week-end in Spain, but I can’t make it because of Remi’s wedding. However, everyone attending the buck’s party is stopping in Toulouse Thursday night. Huge surprise when they saw me at the pub as I had not told anyone I could make it! We had a party like we used to have 10 years ago: same places, same drunkness. No words to describe it… amazing…
